Back on Friday again....i think that by now, most readers are already irritated by my inconsistency in updating. Thank god i didn't live by the same principle as tiger or else...i think i'll have aloooooooooooot to update and aloooooooot owed to my OWN blog -.-
Week came, week went, time passed like that. Lectures, tutorials, homework. Nothing special except for the fact that i've had enough of role plays....the panda role play. No makeup, 100% chemical free....all u hav to do is stay up till 3am and wake up at 6.30am. That should work. But be reminded, it only comes into effect from 3day and onwards. People say i'm turning noctournal but i don't feel that that's the case. 'Cause the pre-requisite to being noctournal is having the ability to sleep in the day, which sadly doesn't apply for my case. Or let's just put it this way, even if i wanted to...i just can't.
What's worse during the week was for the fact that i haven't been feeling very well. Having a sexy voice was a bummer... Coughing the whole time is worse. Coarse voice making me sound like my voice's just broken (like not possible?) and some asshole who just goes coughing away just to clear the phlagm in her throat during lectures and tutorials. Hope i didnt 'cause big obstructions during the lessons. Then i must also add in that i've done funny things through out the week as well....like how i was the only one who chose to throw away a cow just cuz it looks dumb.
Don't get what i'm talking abt? Doesn't matter, it's not important anyway 'cause the "personality test" is not even accurate. F.Y.I, my #1 love is money. Trait inherited from Weimin after years of speaking to him XD ---
Let's now jump to a new topic now. But be reminded(sadly), that just because i've not been blogging in some time doesn't mean that i can promise that this last part's going to be fulfilling. I'll be doing flames as usual, but not as harshly this time. Just expressing my opinion. So if i do hit the bulls-eye again, it's time u reflect :D (Then again, i'm only human...so correct me if i'm wrong)
How do you define pro-wess? Someone who endlessly spams on things they are good in? Let's bring in an example for easier discussion. Met up wif Nex, Kenneth, Weili, Alson, Qianhui and her fnd on wednesday at lot1. While Nex was playing jubeat, this freako tapped a total of 7 times which amounts to 7 x $2 = $14 in total! Wonder if kids these days are too rich or what. Oh well...as he wishes =/ But really...when i was looking at the way he was playing...he didn't seem all that good to me. Moral of the story....
#1 tap in consideration that others might want to play as well. Don't hog onto the machine 'cause it's not your grandpa or ancestor's property!
#2 spending alot of $$ doesn't necessarily mean that you're pro.
Example 2 will then touch up on #2. There's this B**d (DDR ID) player that i've once played with. He just couldn't find a way to stop showing off how much he scored in each round. He feels proud to beat you but guess what? While you're playing on Expert mode, he's whacking on the Beginner's mode. So who'd you think thrashed who? I'm not condemning such actions 'cause, yes while it's true you've scored better than me in every song...would you like to take a look at the difficulty of each song and take into account of how much of a toll each song's taken out of me as compared to you? And this shameless ass was bragging of how i'm only level 27 in my new card and of how he's already level 50+. So what if i'm of a lower level than you? Level only proves of how much you've invested in your training in the machine but alas, i'm a level 27 who's playing on a tougher mode as compared to a level 50+. Get out of that puny world of yours already and start concentrating on improving and not bragging! This therefore brings forth a third point...
#3 don't act pro if you're not...
But hey i'm not quite finished yet. I'd like to make known a last species who at least has a certain standard in each song (in the Bemani case) he/she's playing. While skill does affect the way audiences look at you, attitude is what other players do look at. So what if you're good? I think the key to success and pro-wess is to be humble. If you're going to go off bragging, than it'll be a waste of your talent 'cause you'll just remain as a piece of thrash in others' eyes. So this brings out the last point...
#4 be humble...don't seek unwanted attention 'cause there might be people out there who you DON'T want to offend (: --
Oh god...blogging is indeed poisonous. So be careful to not end up in the blacklist of a blog with external audiences =X
