2nd day of work. Promo is still screwed. I was woken up by a phone call at 9.30am this morning from the office. First i was called back for the damn idiotic senseless product training on the 1st day of work (5th jan) and this time they had something even better up their sleeves. I was told to report to work at 10am.
HELLO! U called me at 9.30am to get me to report to work at 10am when my original reporting time is 12noon? I have done enough swearings on my part, but i'd like to once again emphasize, that i've taken in enough bullshit given to me on their part.
Then i was told, "It's ok to be a little late today, but pls make it up by knocking off later depending on how much later u reported in the day."
WHAT F**K?! So now it sounds as if they're my saint. Should i offer them prayers at the church every sunday then? A load of hell! Yes so what if i'm getiing $62 a day instead of $50 a day after the time extension? Isn't it written clearly in black and white on the contract itself that i work from 12noon to 8pm everyday? If u can go against it anytime, then why sign the damn agreement in the first place?
Nextly, did the screwed place think i was a ball that they can throw around? Or just some dumb student who has nothing better to do other than working as THEIR promoter? We all have a life, please. Yes i know that this was requested by the 'REDOXONS' company itself, but u could've given me some time to adjust to the time change instead of calling me to report immediately!
And then....when we called to the office to ask if i would be given 2 breaks instead since i'm working for a full day, i was told at first that it's the same, i'll b having onli 1 hr break. What happened to justice here? Would u work for 10 hours for onli 1 dinner break? Hello, let's be the judge here, is this justifiable? Cuz 1 hour break would mean that i wld hav to stand from 10am all the way to 5pm, then i'll get my dinner. Right, let's clap then, 7 hrs of work...no lunch. What happened to worker's welare??
DAMN DAMN DAMN! A LOAD OF BULLSHIT! I was angry, i was pissed, i'm unsatisfied with the way the office is working. If we as their employees have to always comply as we're ordered as and when the office likes, then what's the point of signing the contract in the first place? If we're hardly given any choices over what we want, then why call us employees in the first place? Let's change a name for the way we're addressed then, we're called slaves ((:

Then again, 10 hours passed today, i reported late and i knocked off at exactly 8 after getting my dad to negotiate with them. HELLO! It's unreasonable cuz i got a last minute notice and all of the sudden, i'm supposed to knock off late cuz of THEIR mistake. But none the less, the staff at lot1 unity were great. There were more promoters than customers, but chit chatting kills time like an atomic bomb wiping out hiroshima. Other than that, the head office sux was great ((:
