I was talking to Xinyou and Weiming kor b4 i started to write this...and i actually asked them, if u had a chance to turn back in life, wher wld u start everything else from? But unlike them, i think i've had so much regrets i'd prefer reversing time and letting it start all e way from when i was just primary 5.
I totally remembered hw i was a sheltered kid at home, where all that spells in my life is just school and home, school and home. I wonder hw long has it been since i was like this. Then it was also during this fateful year that i started playing an online game which many then wld know of it as 'gunbound'. That was when i finally exposed myself to the outside world, though not exposed in reality, but just putting urself in the cyber world wld let any little mind start to grow outwards, wondering abt the amount of things they haven't seen. Getting tangled in the cyberworld allowed me to grow up, getting to know pple of my current age. That was where i think everything's went wrong. If u'd ask the current me now, i'd say that i'd prefer living in the age where i haven't grown up, nor have i opened my eyes to see the past and future.
But even then, my life's been a bliss up till sec 2 midyear. Where i began to experience heartache for the veri 1st time. Then somewhere along the road, i realized hw long it's been since i've awoken frm that little dream. Getting banned from online games was like a nightmare...and i've consistantly searched for brotherly figures to fill up that little emptiness i felt after losing 'everything' then. That was wher i met Danny, Xinyou and Weiming as well. It's been 3 yrs since we knew eachother...they've seen hw much i've grown, and i've seem them frm b4 they served NS till nw, where some are rdy to enter society and other's, trying to complete their studies.
Of those 3, i can safely say that i've known Xinyou since i was P6 till nw. While talking to him today, i asked "do u still love anime as much as u do in the past?", he told me "i think i've grown out of it". Thats's where i realised hw much time's changed all of us. What abt me? I started missing the times where i thot i had the best buddies in the cyber gaming world but ended up losing most of them the moment i got banned from it. I remininsce the time i had during NDP'07, but we've all drawn apart. A difference cld b seen...frm a contigent of 70 over to a remaining of onli a mere 10 turning up for the BBQ this yr. I started missing the times where i was writing fictions, where i had friends to share ideas of writing with. Penpals disappear after a certain period of time as well, and it'll b too late to say that i want to turn back and continue writing like i once was again...cuz most of my readers wld've been gone, and it'd b no diff frm writing all alone.
That's why, if i had a choice in anything, that'll b to turn time backwards, where i'll start to appreciate the times i used to have and start loving every minute of it that i've currently lost. Yes i have fnds that i've spent yrs of friendship wif, but if given a choice, i wldn't deny that i actually hope for more of such fnds by my side.
That's why, since it's impossible to turn time back, why nt make the best out of the current and appreciate what we hav arnd us nw? Like sisters and besties or other fnds, i'd like to see us all grow up together....but i wonder if it's all too late to say this nw?
