Haha...14th Nov'08 a veri special day, for me and i'm sure many other Unitians as well. Prom Nite'08, something i dreaded most yet had so much fun at.
1st things 1st, If i haven't called Nex this morning i wldn't hav known hu's Mr. Tiger -.- LOL!. Win liao lorh.
2nd, i haven't for Andy n his gf's prezzie! OMG. But meeting Kenneth and Olivia in the evening to ton haha and also pass Siying the textbooks she wanted in the evening ((:
3rd, prom's today! I blogged like so long ago but lost everything in a jiffy just cuz of my error. Idiot blogger. Nvm i'll reblog everything. Sadly.
Went to Haru's hse to make up and since it's the first time i'm actually putting makeup by myself, many things happened inbetween like how messy everything got esp wif the mascara when i sudd blinked my eyes n smudged my eye make up. LOL!
Reached there, veri stressed. But the whole travelling thingy was simplified thx to Zuany's bro for sending us there and Haru's dad for sending us home :D The emcee was great, he was hiliarious and also irritating (esp abt the science club thingy) but overall he entertained us so much, there was much more laughters than eatings. So we had to really apologise to the cook, at least for my table, for returning abt 50% of the food to the dustbin. =((
Prom king and queen selection was funny, especially when the emcee had to 'teach' them of what they'll have to do to impress the judges. Ofcuz, in a more exaggerating manner, but we all had our piece of laughter when he tried to act 'sexy'. Yes it was quite distasteful, but hilarious at the same time, i couldn't stop laughing at his acts and it's been so long since i've last laughed this way. Ok let's just put it this way, the emcee was SEXAY!
All sorts of dances were showcased along side with the ever famous "tuo diao" song. Disco dance, retro-bird style, the William hung way, Indian dance as well as 'strip' dance? LOL! The lucky draw was retarded as well, the emcee bullied every1 out there, especially when the guy who wore sunglasses went out to receive his prize. It was crazy how he told the guy to stop where he is and told the DJ to change the music to some punk type. Haha, suits his style tho, sunglasses and western suit XD. He also told the lucky draw 1st prize winner to react his reaction when he's getting his prize. How he had to jump up and run or dance to the stage. I like how he placed racial discrimination aside and use his indian accent and indian experiences (??) to joke wif us.
The games were retarded as well. 1st game was the table tag game where he told us to pass the tag arnd in circles at our respective tables and when the music stops, the person holding onto the tag will face some forfeit or so he made it sound like one when he said "those holding the tags, good luck ah" but when they proceeded to the stage, all they were told to do was to return the tags and go back to their respective tables cuz there was not enuf waitress (right... =.=)
2nd was that we were given a bingo card and the person at the end whose number's not called even once from all those given in the card, he's the lone ranger. Ofcuz, all of us hoped to NOT be the lone ranger cuz stage attention's not very welcomed, at least for the grp of us. phew. There's no prize for the lone ranger anyway XD
The last game was even funnier. The so called 'sexuality education' and as the saying goes, it takes 2 hands to clap so 3 couples were called up the stage and each couple (1 guy n 1 girl obviously) has to pump up 3 balloons aiming to be the fastest using the pump...but they have to use their hips to do it. Which means that the pump will b placed in between their hips and they'll have to coordinate by swaying their hips to press the pump for air. LOL! Yeah the actions looked like those of sex and esp so when he kept emphasising on how the girl of the last couple "owned" the guy, just cuz she looked like she used alot mre strength compared to the other 2. LOL! stupid game. Luky this 1 gt prize, or if i were them, i wldn't live down this embarassment well in my next life. LOL.
The rest are pics since we preferred to take pics like what the emcee said he noticed abt us. So during the 'dancing' time at the end wher the ball room became that of a clubbing-atmosphere, we mingled arnd outside and took several pics.

Something else that made me happy today :D Cockroach got bullied by the emcee. HAH! I didn't know cockroaches resembles panda. But i think that when the emcee called him decent i almost choked on my drink. Either ways, i think he had the fun of his life time having to deal wif the emcee that must've kindof gave him all the attention he's ever wanted in his life :D
Lastly, i'll miss Unity Secondary! ((: I wldn't have known sisters, besties or some arcaders if it wasn't for unity. Come to think of it, i wldn't even b arcading if it wasn't for some unitians :D Unity marked a major turning point of my life, and made me experienced several major setbacks as well. Tears of sadness and joys shed within, came to an end with a beautiful prom night marking the full-stop to our secondary school lives. I hope i'll meet equally great pple as i move on to the next chapt of my life :D
OH YES AND I'M VERY ANGRY!! Cuz i received yet ANOTHER anonymous message from ANOTHER msian guy this morning, in all chinese as well. Now i'm pissed. STOP GIVING AWAY MY NUMBERS!
